From a Dessert Mom
I’ve had a sweet tooth as long as I can remember. My interest in baking didn’t occur until junior high. Even then it was mostly desserts like cakes, cupcakes, brownies out of the box.
It wasn’t until Zoey, my first born, was born that I tried decorating or creating cute and pretty treats. Mainly desserts to match the kids’ birthday party themes. Last year in 2020 during the pandemic was when I really decided to learn to make desserts from scratch through classes from How to Cake It.
Creating Dessert Content
I don’t have my own recipes nor have the level of experience to teach other how to bake, but I do love to share what I’ve learned and created. Here are a few things that helped me create beautiful and delicious dessert content.

Food Coloring
Colors make all the difference in creating gorgeous baked goods content. It not only helps you have a great feed, but it brings any dessert set up come to life. My favorite place to get colors is from The Sugar Art.

Desserts Make the Heart Happy
My most favorite thing about baking is being able to create something that looks appealing and tasting good as well. And making desserts that have just the right amount of sweetness and flavor. If you’ve read my About Me, you’ll know that my focus is things that sparks joy to maintain the positive things in life. Desserts are just that, they give a small piece of joy in events, end of a meal, or just any moment you feel for some indulgence.
